Small Scale Research

 The nature of the proposal shall be demand driven, contribute

to the implementation of the national development strategy,

and be able to produce a publishable and applicable finding.

 A PhD student attending study in AMU is encouraged to

compute for this scheme with one or two of the objectives of the

approved dissertation.

 Multidisciplinary nature is more appreciated

 Maximum allowable budget is 175,000 (One Hundred

Seventy-Five Thousand) ETB per proposal

Small Grants for Young Researchers

 Maximum budget granted for Graduate Assistant and Assistant

Lecturer is 50,000 (Fifty Thousand) ETB

 For Self-Sponsored MSc Student Maximum budget is 25,000

(Twenty-Five Thousand) ETB per approved thesis proposal
