ARBA MINCH UNIVERSITY RECIEVED "THE BEST UNIVERSITY AWARD".

Arba Minch University is one of the participants in East Africa Electricity Exhibition conducted in Addis Abeba Exhibition center.

The first East Africa Electricity Exhibition was conducted in Addis Abeba Exhibition center from January 21-24, 2010. The participants are all Ethiopian universities, selected TVET collages, Importer and Exporter companies, Manufacturers, Contractors ,service providers like EELPA , Concerned government bodies etc….

Arba Minch University is one of the participants in East Africa Electricity Exhibition conducted in Addis Abeba Exhibition center. The Hydraulic engineering students with their coordinator Mr. Mengesha Dimer participates on the exhibition by presenting hydropower model and simulation with its advantages for the development of our country as well as satisfying current energy demand of our country Ethiopia with no global warming effect. The model and simulation presented by Hydraulic Engineering students have got appreciation from Mining and Energy Minister and other concerned government bodies, senior engineering professionals, contractors, Engineering consultants, investors, participated universities, foreign investors and many individual visitors. Finally, on the first East Africa Electricity Exhibition closing date, Arba Minch University awarded The Best University Award from East Africa Electricity Exhibition. The water technology institute in Arba Minch University approved its worth and rolls on the national and international level in water fields once again!
