Arba Minch University Students Support Service Directorate has recently held a meeting with all university physically-challenged students, to hear their grievances and to honor those select few who won gold, silver and bronze medals at Haramaya Sports Festival at Main Campus.

New MSc Programs for the year 2014 second semester

Arba Minch Institute of Technology of Arba Minch University in collaboration with Ethiopian Road Authority (ERA) is going to run postgraduate program in the following Engineering specialization areas during 2006E.C academic year. The MSc program is sponsored by Ethiopian Road Authority (ERA).

  • MSc in Hydraulic Engineering
  • MSc in Environmental Engineering

AMU commissions ‘water supply construction project’

‘Water Supply Construction Project,’ which was initiated by Arba Minch University, in September 2012, to end water scarcity at Abaya, Chamo and Nechsar campuses is completed and fully got operational on 16th March 2014, said Estate Development and Utility Property Administration Directorate Director, Mr Brook Gissila (Er.).
The project came into being with AMU signing a Memorandum of Understanding with South Water Works Construction Enterprise on June 2011, and then the total cost of the project was pegged at ETB 14.5 million.
