Arba Minch University has conducted three-day training for its senior regular students on core issues from 5th-7th October, 2017, which was held simultaneously at respective campuses. Click here to see the pictures.

The training started with deliver-ology wherein students were oriented about national job scenario and subsequent university’s efforts to meet the challenges.

On second day, students were oriented on Civic and Ethical Education, where they were apprised about its importance and significance in whole gamut of life. And they were told until recently Civic and Ethical Education was common, but looking into its immense contribution in shaping up personality of each individual, that impacts the society; therefore, the efforts is afoot to make it one of the major subjects so that it continues to strengthen the social spectrum.

On the last day, Deep-Reform issues (including resolved, bottlenecks), achievements of AMU’s 2009 Plan and Annual Plan of 2010 were discussed.

The objective of the training was to apprise senior students with the on-going developments at national and higher education fronts. Apart from keenly introspecting and deeply analyzing difficulties encountered, orienting them about newer needs and to get ready to walk extra miles so that identified goals are achieved, form the core.

The training was imparted by colleges’ deans, department heads and senior teachers. The fresh students will be undergoing similar training on issues mentioned above from 12-14th October, 2017.
