Arba Minch University's Academic Affairs Vice-President, Dr Agena Anjulo, who was also shouldering the teaching responsibility as Assistant Professor in Agro-Forestry subject has been elevated to the position of Associate Professor.

AMU Senate has taken decision in this regard in its recently held meeting. Dr Agena has done both his Doctorate and Post-Doctorate Fellowship (PDF) studies in Agro-Forestry from University of Horticulture & Forestry, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab University from India respectively.

After his PhD, till date, he has six research papers in his subject which have been published in reputed national and international journals to his credit.

Prior to his appointment as Vice-President in AMU, he served as the Dean of Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resources, Hawassa University. He has four years of experience as Assistant Professor and six years as lecturer in Hawassa.
