Agriculture College to move to new location – Kulfo Campus: Dr Nejib

Arba Minch University’s College of Agriculture presently situated at Nech Sar Campus will soon be moving to its new sprawling location at Boarding School of Regional Bureau off Arba Minch Airport road, its Dean Dr Nejib Mohammad informed.

College of Natural Science reviews curricula of two new MSc programs

College of Natural Science has reviewed the curricula of two of its new master programs i.e. MSc in Wildlife Management and MSc in Medical Entomology & Disease Vector Control in a daylong meet held at its premises on 14th January, 2014.
Assistant Professor in Biology and Coordinator of PG Studies, Dr Serekebirhan Takele, presenting the curriculum of MSc in Wildlife Management, said, ‘‘Wildlife management is the art and science of managing wildlife populations and their habitats while being cognizant of the attitudes of local communities’’.

Annual National Symposium on Science for Sustainable Development (NSSD)

The aim of this symposium series is to create a forum for exchange and discussion on sustainable development though science between scientists and researchers from different fields of Science: Agriculture, Natural Sciences, and Medicine and Health sciences.
