Faculty of Natural and Computational Science

Background information

The Faculty was instituted in 1996. In Academic Year 2008/2009, 1500 undergraduate students, 100 extension students, and 20 MSc students were enrolled. The Faculty today comprises seven departments: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Meteorology and Statistics. The number of academic staff members has grown over time. In 2009/2010, the number of prospective new undergraduate students is 800.
