AMiT Community Service Coordination Office is the functional unit encompassing departments in the institute to carryout community services in their respective fields. Plan, direct and supervise the community services at the Institute level.

The office is accountable to both Community Service Directorate and Arba Minch Institute of Technology. The office considers the following issue in its effort:

• Community Service includes Short term training, Consultancy, Community Outreach, and Project development and Execution.
• The service to be rendered to the community should be need based community services.
• Special attentions should be given to the parts of the community who are youth, female and disabled.
• Sustainability of the delivered services should always be considered.
