Sawla Campus is located at 196kms to the South West of Arba Minch town in Gofa Zone via Arba Minch to Bonke, Bonke to Kamba and then Kamba to Sawla or 260kms through Arba Minch to Wolayta Sodo and then Wolaita Sodo to Sawla.

Sawla Campus was built on an area of about 45.3hectar in June 2014 and inaugurated in November 2015 by admitting 191 students (M = 98, F = 93) in four departments with 7 academic and 38 administrative staffs.

Sawla campus is working hard to the parameters to produce citizens which are knowledgeable, skilled and with good characters of citizens who work for the development of the country. It is also working to become teaching and research institute in the coming years. It is a multi-disciplinary campus.
