Arba Minch University will be hosting its 33rd Convocation at Abaya Campus Stadium on 26th January, 2021. On the occasion, Federal, Regional, zonal and Town administration officials are among the invitees.
The aforesaid graduation which was expected to be held in July 2020 was delayed due to world-wide inconveniencies caused by Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, efforts are being made to put all necessary preparations in place to comply with required protocols under prevailing difficult circumstances.

አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከብራይት ፊውቸር አግሪካልቸር ፕሮጀክት ጋር በመተባበር ለዩኒቨርሲቲው ማኅበረሰብና ከሌሎች የግብርና እና ቴክኒክና ሙያ ኮሌጆች ለመጡ ባለሙያዎች የሴቶች ተሰጥዖ ልማት ላይ ያተኮረ ሥልጠና ከጥር 4/2013 ዓ/ም ጀምሮ ለ5 ቀናት ሰጥቷል፡፡

Today AMU seems to have completed the quantum leap taken 6 year back by launching 5 PhD programs in water-related studies as Water Technology Institute’s first ever PhD student, Mr Kassaw Besha, of Wolayta Soddo University is granted PhD in Irrigation & Drainage Engineering; the dissertation defense was hosted at Main Campus on 22nd January, 2021. The 2nd PhD student, Mr Demelash Wondemeneh, AMU staff, is likely to defend thesis next week. Click here for the photos

Mr Behailu Merdekios, the newly appointed Research and Community Service Vice President, is indebted towards his superiors for reposing faith in him to spearhead such an important office of Arba Minch University and at the same time, he feels, it’s right opportunity to serve the nation and will put his heart and soul in achieving what is expected of him.
