Main activities of the coordination office

Conducting research activities in the following five main thematic areas these are:

• 1. Livestock Production and Productivity Improvement
• 2. Field and Horticultural Crop Production and Productivity Improvement 
• 3. Postharvest Technology, Processing, and Food Analysis
• 4. Natural Resources Management 
• 5. Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness and Value Chain and Extension
• Under these 5 themes, in this year 2014 E.C. (up to the second quarter) 6 thematic research works were completed, 88 thematic and 1 mega projects are under implementation(ongoing). In this fiscal year, more than 4,388,820.5ETB was budgeted for this coordination office.
