Main Activities of the Coordination Office

• Ensuring proper implementation and administration of research and project funds, and preparing & request research and project budgets 
• Plans, organize, facilitate, manage, monitor & report the research activities of the college
• Prepare research themes and procedures relevant to the college and implement them upon the approval 
• Provides strategic and operational recommendations to promote the research activities in the college  
• Identify and promote the development of interdisciplinary research program activities in consultation with the respective departments,
• Establish a panel of experts that search for external sources of funding/grants,
• Facilitate regular seminars, symposiums, and panel discussions,
• Establish a research resource center in the college,
• Identifies research thematic areas in consultation with key stakeholders,
• Link completed research outputs to the University-Industry Linkage and Technology Transfer and/ or Community Engagement Directorates, and implement it as a community project
• Prepare annual research reviews to evaluate the progress of ongoing research at the college
• Prepare validation workshops of completed research at research sites and with key stakeholders,
• Update the college Research Data Base regularly,  
• Make sure workload, incentives, and recognition for researchers are provided according to the guideline,  
• Make sure breaches and misconducts are addressed based on the guideline, 
• And performing other related activities with a coordination office
