Bio:
Lemma Tadesse Andarge is an experienced academic with more than 25 years of service in the field of education and is currently an Assistant Professor (PhD)at Arba Minch University, Ethiopia. His academic background reflects a strong and interdisciplinary foundation in geography and education. He began his professional training with a diploma in Geography from Awassa College of Teacher Education in 1999, followed by a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Geography and Environmental Studies from Dilla University in 2006. He subsequently earned two Master of Arts degrees: one in GIS, Remote Sensing, and Digital Cartography from Addis Ababa University in 2012, and another in Curriculum and Instruction from Arba Minch University in 2018. He further advanced his academic career by obtaining a PhD in Disaster Risk Management, with research focusing on landslide vulnerability mapping and rural food security in Southern Ethiopia. In addition to teaching, he has published over twelve articles in peer-reviewed journals, primarily focusing on GIS and remote sensing applications in environmental management, livelihoods, and food security, as well as educational research on teacher professional development. He also serves as a reviewer for several international journals and has received recognition for his contributions.
