KfW and AUDA-NEPAD project team members conducted an evaluation and monitoring visit to assess the progress of Arba Minch University (AMU)’s JOB-FEET (SIFA) project from September 21–23, 2026. አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በAMU-IUC ፕሮጀክት አማካኝነት በምዕራብ አባያ ወረዳ፣ ላዮ ተርጋ ቀበሌ በሚገኘው የቦሮቦር ማገገሚያ ሰርቶ ማሳያ ስፍራ ላይ የመስክ ምልከታ አካሂዷል። በሰርቶ ማሳያ ጣቢያው የቦሮቦር (Gully) መልሶ እንዲገግም ለማድረግ ፣ የአፈር መሸርሸርን ለመከላከል እና ወደ አባያ ሐይቅ የሚሄደውን የደለል አፈር ክምችት ለመቀነስ የሚያስችሉ የድንጋይ እርከኖች (stone check dams) እና ሌሎች የመከላከያ ዘዴዎች በተግባር እየተተገበሩ ይገኛሉ። ተጨማሪ ፎቶዎችን ለማየት እዚህ ይጫኑ፡፡

በሰው ሰራሽ አስተውሎት (Artificial Intelligence) ድጋፍ የበለጸገውን የወባ በሽታ ስርጭት መተንበያ ስርዓት ለማበጀት "AI-based Malaria Incidence Prediction Under Current And Future Climate In Southern Ethiopia" በሚል ርዕስ ሲሰራ የቆየው የትብብር ፕሮጀክት ማጠቃለያ ወርክሾፕ በአርባምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ዋና ግቢ መስከረም 08 ቀን 2019 ዓ.ም ተካሂዷል። ተጨማሪ ፎቶዎችን ለማየት እዚህ ይጫኑ፡፡

AMU-IUC Project Demonstrates Research-Based Gully Rehabilitation to Protect Land and Lake Abaya

Arba Minch University (AMU), through the AMU-IUC Project, conducted a field visit to a gully rehabilitation demonstration site in Layo Terga Kebele, Mirab Abaya Woreda, showcasing practical approaches to restoring degraded land, protecting agricultural productivity, and reducing erosion and sedimentation risks to downstream water bodies.
