Bio:

Dr. Ramesh Duraisamy is an expatriate staff, working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Arba Minch University. He secured a Ph.D. in Industrial Chemistry from Alagappa University in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India. He is teaching different Industrial Chemistry courses. He played a key role in curriculum development as the Chairperson of the curriculum committees for the M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry (on 2015), Forensic Toxicology (on 2021) and Ph.D. (2023) at the Department of Chemistry. His current research interests include Food and Sugar technology, Nanomaterials, Food Processing and Preservation, Bio-Fuel Technology, Effluents, and Textile and Leather Technology.
