Simon Shibru (PhD)

I have rich experience in research, teaching and community services at Arba Minch University. I served Arba Minch University as Vice President for Research and Community services, Vice President for Administration and Development, and Research director. I coordinated research projects funded by external agents. I am engaged in teaching graduate and undergraduate students. I am supervising several PhD students in the Biodiversity Conservation and Management program of the Biology Department. I advise many M. Sc. students in Biology, Botany, and Wildlife Management. Courses I have been teaching include Biodiversity Conservation, Restoration Ecology, Ecology, Advance Plant Ecology, Plant Taxonomy, Bryophytes and Pteridophytes, Wildlife Management, Research methods and Scientific writing, Biological Data analysis.
