Arba Minch University along-with the Ethiopian English Language Professionals’ Association will be hosting the Ethiopian English Language Professionals’ Association/EELPA/ South Chapter Launching workshop in AMU on 23rd December, 2023, at Main Campus.

Dr. Tesfaye Habtemariam, AMU's Executive Director of Research, stated that in addition to the launching event, English language teachers will receive capacity-building training on “Using and Adopting Inclusive Practices, Special Needs Education, and Disability in Teaching, Project-based Learning and Warmer, Filler, and Cooler” during the workshop.

Dr. Tesfaye further stated that English language teachers from Arba Minch University, private and government colleges, and primary and secondary schools in Arba Minch will participate in the program. Furthermore, the Ethiopian English Language Professionals’ Association President, Vice President, and British Council experts are expected to attend this historic event.
