AMU has hosted 17th International symposium on ‘Sustainable Water Resource Development,’ at Main Campus from 23-24 June, 2017, wherein researchers from across globe tested waters to deliberate strategies to tackle this crucial challenge confronting Ethiopian landscape. ዩኒቨርሲቲው 17ኛውን ዓለም አቀፍ ዘላቂ የውሃ ሀብት ልማት አውደ ጥናት ከሰኔ 16-17/2009 ዓ/ም አካሂዷል፡፡

ውሃ ህይወት ከመሆኑ ባሻገር በኃይል ማመንጫ፣ በኢንደስትሪ፣ በመጓጓዣና በግብርና ዘርፎች እጅግ ወሳኝ ሚና ያለው መሆኑን የገለፁት የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር ዳምጠው ዳርዛ ለውሃ ፍላጎት አለመጣጣምና ሌሎች ውስብስብ ችግሮች በዘርፉ የተሠማሩ ምሁራን ትኩረት ሰጥተው ሊሠሩ ይገባል ብለዋል፡፡ የአውደ ጥናቱ መዘጋጀትም በምሁራን መካከል ሣይንሳዊ የልምድና እውቀት ልውውጥ እንዲኖር ምቹ ሁኔታ የሚፈጥር መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡  ምስሎቹን ለማየት እዚህ ይጫኑ::

Arba Minch University’s new Board to take charge on 7th July

Arba Minch University’s newly constituted Management Board comprised of eight members is likely to take over the reins from the out-going members on 7th July, 2017. The erstwhile Board deserved plaudits for it has contributed immensely to put AMU into the orbit of excellence, said University President, Dr Damtew Darza.
