Arba Minch University Water Technology Institute was established in the late 1980s with a vision and focus to address water-related challenges. Originally offering training and research services, it supported the inauguration of Arba Minch University in 2004. Today, AWTI continues as a leader in water education, applied research, and consultancy, contributing to sustainable water solutions, to benefit Ethiopia, and indeed the world beyond.
