Main activities of the coordination office

  1. Ensures proper implementation and administration of research and project funds,
  2. Plans, organizes, facilitates, manages, monitors, and reports the research activities of the  college/institute/campus
  3. Prepares research themes and procedures relevant to the School and implements upon approval by the research and development standing committee of the senate,
  4. Provides strategic and operational recommendations to promote the research activities in the School
  5. Identifies, promotes, and leads the development of interdisciplinary research programs activities in consultation with the respective departments/bodies,
  6. Identifies research priority areas,
  7. Establishes panel of experts that search for external sources of funding/grants,
  8. Facilitates regular seminars panel discussions and others
