Main activities of the coordination office

• Identify, encourage and co-ordinate the initiations and undertakings of interdepartmental research
• Create enabling environment to initiate and execute research projects 
• Devise mechanisms to enhance the capacity to undertake research 
• Organize a forum for research output dissemination and research idea generation
• Ensure the synergy between research, teaching-learning, and community services
• Liaison the college and departments with the centers
• Prepare annual plans for research 
• Regular follow-up and monitor the progress of ongoing research 
• Prepare workshops per quarter to mobilize staff for proposals, progress reports, budget reconciliations, final report presentations, publications, 
• Prepare experience sharing workshops by inviting key researchers from different Institutions
• Give feedback and rate departments for competition among themselves.
• Perform any other duties as may be required by the Research Director
