Mohammed Abebe Yimer (PhD)

I received my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Arba Minch University, Arba Minch, Ethiopia, in 2006, and my M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 2012. I have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering with a special focus in Machine Learning from Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey, in 2021. In 2007, I joined the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology of Arba Minch University as a Graduate Assistant I and was promoted and served as a Graduate Assistant II between 2009 and 2012. In 2012, I became a lecturer. In addition to the teaching activities, I have served as an Associate Registrar of Arba Minch Institute of Technology (AMiT) between 2013 and 2015 and am currently serving as AMU e-Learning Director and Board member of Arba Minch Community School. Since August 2021, I have been with the Faculty of Computing and Software Engineering, AMiT Arba Minch, where I am an Assistant Professor.
