Bio:
Dr. Bisrat Gissila Gidday is a Deputy Scientific Director of Institute of Technology at Arba University, Ethiopia. He received his B.Sc. degree in Civil (Water Supply and Environmental Engineering) and MSc. degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) from Arba Minch University, Arba Minch, Ethiopia, in 2011 and 2014 respectively, and his Ph.D. in Civil( Geotechnical Engineering) Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He is the author/co-author of 13 article papers. His primary areas of research include Ground Improvement, Computational methods, Geotechnical testing systems and methodology development, Reinforced soil slopes and walls, Landslides and rockfall, Geosynthetic and Fundamental principles of soil mechanics.
