Mulugeta Debele Bedane (PhD, Associate Professor)

Dr. Mulugeta has received his PhD in Soil Science from Haramaya University and MA and BA degrees in Geography and Environmental Studies from Addis Ababa university. Dr. Mulugeta has more than 25 years of experience in teaching, research and leadership positions. He has worked in land resource management including soil and water conservation activities and related fields of study. Currently, he is an Associate professor of Soil Science at college of social science and humanities of Arba Minch university. Dr. Mulugeta has been involved in many inter-disciplinary projects. He also supervised and co-supervised MSc and PhD students in border fields like soil and water resource management, land use and land cover change. Moreover, Dr. Mulugeta has worked at different positions in Arba Minch University. Among these are the Vice Dean of faculty of Education, Distance and Continuing Division Program coordinator, University Registrar, Dean of College of Social Science and Humanities, and Chamo Campus head.
