Arba Minch University under the auspices of its Community Service Directorate will celebrate 3rd ‘Community Week’ beginning from 26th to 29th June, 2018. Slew of programs organized on the occasion will mirror achievements and on-going endeavors amid the presence of AMU fraternity and stakeholders.

Dr Negash Wagesho, an adroit alumnus of AMU has always brought laurels to his alma mater, presently, being Board Chairman, he is guiding the university and on other having become State Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation, he is assured to transform this crucial sector, which, he feels, reassuringly will have far-reaching impact on the lives of over 100 million people. 

Arba Minch University is all geared up to host its 31st Convocation at Abaya Campus Auditorium on 30th June, 2018. The ceremony commencing at 8.30 am will be streamed live on Facebook, YouTube and digital signage screens at all campuses. It will enable people thronging the venue to comfortably view the proceedings that will prevent crowding of the hall.

Arba Minch University’s Water Technology Institute (AWTI) today has scored few brownie points in its 18th international symposium on ‘Sustainable Water Resources Development’ being held at New Hall, Main Campus from 8th to 9th June, 2018, as it mirrored elegance and sobriety.
