Job Description: Medical Laboratory Academic and Clinical Service Director is responsible for overseeing both the academic and clinical functions of the medical laboratory department. This role involves managing educational programs, ensuring high standards of clinical services, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with faculty, clinicians, and administrative staff to improve both academic and clinical outcomes
Academic oversight
• Develop and manage curriculum for medical laboratory science programs, fostering educational excellence
• Facilitate research initiatives and integrate new technologies and methodologies into practice
Clinical service oversight
• Oversee the daily operations of clinical laboratory services, ensuring timely and accurate diagnostics
• Implement and monitor quality control protocols to ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance
• Ensure continuous professional development for staff through workshops and training programs
