Arba Minch University in Collaboration with the National Council for the Coordination ofPublic Participation onthe Construction of the Grand Renaissance Dam planned to conduct a one-day workshop and 4 days poster/plate presentation session of the GERD. The topic of this workshop is “Intellectuals and Citizens Engagement for GERD Realization”.In this workshop, we are tentatively planning to have a maximum of two papersfor presentations related to GERD/ABAY BASIN hydro-politics and any research work done in the basin.The paper/s shall mainly focus on Water Availability, Water Management, PublicDiplomacy/Water Politics, Soiland Water Conservation, Environmental Issues Related to WaterManagement Focusing on BLUE NILE and Preferably on the GERD.
