AMU elevates Dr Teshome, Dr Abebe as Associate Professors

Arba Minch University in its recent Senate meeting has promoted two Assistant Professors, Dr Teshome Yirgu Bayu and Dr Abebe Girma Demissie to the position of Associate Professor.

Enset Park Project: AMU holds two-day national symposium

Enset Park Project in its third phase has jointly conducted its first two-day national symposium from 5th to 6th April, 2016, at New Hall, Main Campus. Flemish partners, scholars from different universities, research institutions, stakeholders and others attended the function.

AMU-VLIRUOS declares closer of four-year Stripe Project

AMU in a program held at New Hall, Main Campus on 4th April, 2016, declared the closure of four-year Stripes Project in the presence of Flemish and other stakeholders, AMU scholars, officials and guests. AMU student Biruk participates in UNESCO Biosphere excursion

Arba Minch University’s post-graduate student, Mr Biruk Emiru, is among 16 young participants from Ethiopia and United Arab Emirates selected for UNESCO Biosphere Reserves excursion beginning from 6th to 21st April, 2016 in UAE.

AMU-VLIROUS launches four-year ‘Enset Team Project’

AMU in association with VLIROUS, Belgium, has launched a new 4-year Enset Team Project on April 4, 2016, in a kickoff conference held at New Hall, Main Campus.
