PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project aims to uplift traditional knowledge (TK) and its integration into modern research and education in Ethiopia. The project will specifically focus on plant agribiologicals and encompass research, science communication and capacity-building parts:

TK on agribiologicals will be gathered through a survey and focus group discussions targeting local communities in various agroecological zones of Ethiopia.

Materials will be developed to communicate scientific findings effectively and TK on agribiologicals, ensuring broader dissemination and engagement.

A mini-symposium will be organised in Ethiopia to highlight and discuss the findings, fostering stakeholder collaboration and awareness. This event will be complemented by a visit of Ethiopian delegates to SLU.
