PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Develop standardized commercial-quality LAB starter cultures optimized for the fermentation of processed raw materials from Ensete ventricosum.
Establish sustainable industrial-scale production protocols for Enset-based starter cultures, ensuring consistency, safety and quality. Strengthen national capacities in commercial starter culture production and quality control through targeted training, technology transfer, and infrastructure development.
Promote the commercialization and market integration of locally developed starter culture technologies by fostering effective public-private partnerships (PPP).
