She gets solace and satisfaction in helping poor in particular who needs treatment but can’t afford the cost.
Dr Ikram hails from Karakore, Addis Ababa, her father Musa Jemal is a merchant and mother, Ajaiba Keyredin, housewife; of 4 siblings (3 brothers & 1 sister), she is the eldest. Dr Fikru Demeke topped the table in this 6th batch of 140 doctors by scoring 3.78 CGPA; and despite being toast of the season, he prefers to be down-to-earth and wants to be the best physician to alleviate suffering of people.
