Ministry of Federal Affairs holds awareness building training in AMU

‘‘We have orientated the Arba Minch University students on the current scenario in Ethiopia with regard to extremism and its threat. Having this in mind, government primarily expects students to comply with the law of the land to stamp out increasing nefarious activities of the terrorist,’’ Mr Samson Abate, Advisor for inter-governmental relations, said.

Dr Agena Anjulo promoted as Associate Professor

Arba Minch University's Academic Affairs Vice-President, Dr Agena Anjulo, who was also shouldering the teaching responsibility as Assistant Professor in Agro-Forestry subject has been elevated to the position of Associate Professor.

Senate up-scales Law Dept to Law School, makes HDP training mandatory

AMU Senate in its recently held meeting has arrived at some important decisions on the issues of delayed clearance of under and post-graduates exams, up-scaling of law department to Law School and also came up with clear-cut policy on Higher Diploma Program training.

Research Directorate lauds Dr Agena, Dr Negash and other AMU researchers

AMU’s Silver Jubilee celebration from January 2, 2014

Arba Minch University will be celebrating its silver jubilee from 2nd to 4th January 2014. The university has planned a three-day celebration which will have slew of programs i.e. exhibitions, panel discussions, music show etc. to commemorate its success in different arenas.
