Temie Alehegn’s small stature doesn’t speak about his intellectual worth for he looks pretty ordinary but his simplicity and down-to-earth characteristics set him apart from the rest. And presently, he is the toast of all for his outstanding feat of clocking perfect 4 CGPA in 33rd Graduation that has proved his mettle.
I am the youngest son of a farmer, Mr Alehegn Mengistie, my mother Atalay Mitiku, is a housewife; of 6 siblings, 5 are into farming at Guay village in Amhara region. My parents were expecting me to be a doctor, but my 12 Grade’s insufficient percentile couldn’t let me in and I had to be content with Agricultural Economics, he said.

In its 33rd Convocation held at Abaya Campus Stadium on 26th January, 2021, Arba Minch University has rolled out 4,858 graduates of which 3,141 are male and 1,717 female. Of total, 4,465 are regular under-graduates that include 332 from Distance & Continuing Education, Law 39; Master 60, PhD 1 and PGDT 3. Click here for the photos

Arba Minch University will be hosting its 33rd Convocation at Abaya Campus Stadium on 26th January, 2021. On the occasion, Federal, Regional, zonal and Town administration officials are among the invitees.
The aforesaid graduation which was expected to be held in July 2020 was delayed due to world-wide inconveniencies caused by Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, efforts are being made to put all necessary preparations in place to comply with required protocols under prevailing difficult circumstances.
