Mr. Jemal Said Ebrahim has scored a GPA of 3.96 and he is the top candidate in his field of study in AMU. When asked, how he got this, he replied saying that he had worked hard. “I have been studying for more than 8 hours per day” says he and this has helped him to stand first in his field. He had studied hard in primary and secondary schools and he has been reading extra books part from classes. He has been reading not just class books but other subject books as well and this has kept him abreast with knowledge.

Mr. Yenealem Ewentu Jewdie of Economics Department has something to feel proud of for what he has done. He has score 3.94, a very high score among all economics candidates, something which has earned him topper model for his class in the Graduation ceremony. “I study hard, from primary school to college and I put in around 8 hours of work perday” he says. Also, he likes to read books on many subjects written by scholars and authors and that has been published on many subjects.

Entrepreneurship training for graduating students at all AMU campuses has started today and it would be helpful to them personally in their careers says Dr. Arvind Bhatt a trainer and faculty in the Dept of Management studies at AMU. Mr. Mulgeta Mehari is the co-ordinator of this two day program covering basics of entrepreneurship, small business, Market Research and Market Planning besides dealing sources of finance and Negotiation skills.

The computer science department at Arba Minch University has come up with some interesting models to show at the exhibition today held at University gymnasium. Different types of software, different projects of graduating class students are exhibited as well as there are projects of G-4 final year students and MSc projects were on display .

The exhibition which is to start tomorrow coinciding the Graduation ceremony is in full swing as the indications are available today. The Architecture department has full plans and speaking on it Mr. Shawul, 3rd year student who is in charge says, “There will be model of building, different kinds of drawings, painting, art works, sculpture displayed for three days” He says further that the projects are new, student works, instructor works and all are creatively designed. Mr. Tigistu yet another student says that these designs are not only new but also are unique.
