AMU along with Sahay Solar Association’s 10-day advanced training on photovoltaic marked the end of 2nd phase of Sahay Solar Project which till date has electrified 17 schools and 26 health centres in erstwhile Gamo Gofa zone. 19 students from Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts, Switzerland, 24 AMU and 2 Jinka University staff members partook in it from 4th to 14th February, 2020, at Main Campus. AMU has commemorated the 124th anniversary of iconic Adwa Victory with tremendous enthusiasm and ardor at Main Campus on 2nd March, 2020. Many war veterans including men and women sporting their pips and gongs, Gamo elders draped in colorful ethnic attire, guests from different walks of life and AMU community graced the event. የዩኒቨርሲቲው የእንግሊዝኛ ቋንቋና የICT መምህራን በሚሠሩት ‹‹Improving the quality of English teaching trough ICT tools›› የሚል ጥናት መነሻነት ለአርባ ምንጭ፣ አ/ም/ዩ ኮሚዩኒቲ እና ሳውላ 2ኛ ደረጃና መሰናዶ ት/ቤቶች 22 የእንግሊዝኛ ቋንቋ መምህራን እንግሊዝኛ ቋንቋን ከICT ጋር አቀናጅቶ የማስተማር ክሂሎት ማሻሻያ ስልጠና ከጥር 25- 28/2012 ዓ/ም ተሰጥቷል፡፡ የጥናት ቡድኑ ውስጥ የተካተቱ መምህራን እንዲሁም ከየትምህርት ቤቱ የተወጣጡ የቴክኒክ ድጋፍ ሰጪ ባለሙያዎችና የICT መምህራን ስልጠናውን ሰጥተዋል፡፡ ምስሉን ለማየት ከዚህ ይጫኑ

በ2012 በጀት ዓመት የመጀመሪያ አጋማሽ በምርምርና ማኅበረሰብ አገልግሎት ዘርፍ መልካም አፈፃፀም መመዝገቡን የምርምርና ማኅበረሰብ አገልግሎት ም/ፕሬዝደንት ጽ/ቤት ገልጿል፡፡
የምርምርና ማኅበረሰብ አገልግሎት ም/ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር ስምዖን ሽብሩ እንዳሉት በግማሽ ዓመቱ በዋናነት በሂደት ላይ ካሉ 421 የምርምር ፕሮጀክቶች ውስጥ 92ቱ በዚህ ዓመት የፀደቁ ናቸው፡፡ የሳሃይ ሶላር ፕሮጀክት በጋሞና በጎፋ ዞኖች ውስጥ በርካታ ጤና ጣቢያዎችና ት/ቤቶች የፀሐይ ታዳሽ ኃይል ተደራሽ እያደረገ ነው፡፡ ረንረስ (RUNRES) ፕሮጀክት በአርባ ምንጭ ዙሪያ ወረዳ ያሉ ሙዝ አምራች አርሶ አደሮችን ከከተማው ነዋሪዎች ጋር በማስተሳሰር ገጠሩ ከተማውን ሲመግብ ከተማው ተረፈ ምርቶችን ወደ ገጠሩ በመመለስ እንዲሁም የመፀዳጃ ቤት ቆሻሻዎችን በሣይንሳዊ መንገድ ማዳበሪያ አድርጎ ለምርታማነት በመጠቀም አርሶ አደሮቹ የተሻለ ምርት አምርተው ለአገር ውስጥና ለውጭ አገራት ገበያዎች እንዲያቀርቡ እየሠራ ይገኛል፡፡ ቤኔፊት ሪያላይዝ (BENEFI-REALISE) በተለይ የምግብ ዋስትና ለማረጋገጥ በምዕራብ አባያ ወረዳ በያይቄና በዛላ ጉትሻ ቀበሌ፣ በደራሼ ወረዳ በሆልተ ቀበሌ፣ በቁጫ ወረዳ ጋሌ ቀበሌ እና በጎፋ ዞን ዛላ ወረዳ ሜላ ባይሳ ቀበሌ የአየር ሁኔታውንና በሽታ ተቋቁመው በአጭር ጊዜ ውስጥ ውጤታማ የሚሆኑ የአደንጓሬ፣ በቆሎ፣ ድንችና ማሽላ ምርጥ ዘሮችን በማወዳደርና በመለየት ለአርሶ አደሮች በማቅረብ ላይ ይገኛል፡፡
