በዩኒቨርሲቲው ቴክኖሎጂ ኢንስቲትዩት የመጀመሪያው ‹‹የምህንድስና እና የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጠራዎችና ተግዳሮቶች ለዘላቂ ልማት›› አውደ ጥናት ተካሄደ
አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ‹‹የምህንድስና እና የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጠራዎችና ተግዳሮቶች ለዘላቂ ልማት›› በሚል ረዕስ አገራዊ ዓውድ- ጥናት ከሚያዚያ 4-5/2011 ዓ/ም ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ አካሄዷል፡፡
የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር ዳምጠው ዳርዛ በመክፈቻ ንግግራቸው እንደገለፁት በአሁኑ ወቅት የፈጠራና የምርምር ውጤቶችን ለተጠቃሚው ከማድረስ አንፃር አጠቃላይ ከሀገራዊ ፍላጎት ጋር ሲነፃፀር ውስንነት እንዳለበት ጠቁመው ይህን ለማሻሻል ዩኒቨርሲቲዎችና የምርምር ተቋማት ወጥነት ያለው ተቋማዊ አደረጃጀትና የፖሊሲ አቅጣጫዎችን በመከተል የሚሰሩ ከሆነ እንደ አገር ተሰፋ ሰጪ እምርታ ማስመዝገብ ይቻላል ብለዋል፡፡ ይህንን መሠረት በማድረግ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በማህበረሰቡ ዘንድ ያሉ አንገብጋቢ ችግሮች ላይ ያተኮሩ የፈጠራና የምርምር ፕሮጅክቶችን በተለየ መልኩ በመደጎም ረገድ ቅድሚያ ሰጥቶ እየሰራ መሆኑንም ፕሬዝደንቱ ተናግረዋል፡፡
በዚህ ረገድም ዩኒቨርሲቲው በአካባቢው በቅርበት በሚገኙ የገጠር ጤና ጣቢያዎችንና ትምህርት ቤቶችን ከፀሐይ ብርሃን በሚገኝ ሀይል የኤሌትሪክ አገልግሎት ተጠቃሚ እንዲሆኑ የማስቻል ሥራዎች መከናወናቸው በዚህ ረገድ ለአብነት የሚጠቀስ ተግባር መሆኑንና በቀጣይም በሌሎችም መስኮች አገልግሎቱ በጥራትና በሽፋን ወደ ተሻለ ደረጃ እንዲያድግ በማድረግ የህብረተሰቡን ሁለንተናዊ ተጠቃሚነት የማስፋት ሥራዎች በትኩረት እንደሚሠሩ ዶ/ር ዳምጠው ገልፀዋል፡፡ ምስሉን ለመመልከት ከዚህ ይጫኑ

Presently he is director of Addis Continental Institute for Public Health in Addis Ababa. Arba Minch University has formalized a yearlong partnership with International Centre of Pure Applied Mathematics (CIMPA) of France by inking an agreement to build the capacity of Master, PhD students and staff in mathematics by senior Professors; establishment of CIMPA Research School and African Mathematical School at AMU is on priority while professors can be an advisor and co-advisor for thesis. First time in the history of AMU, university in a program has accorded a warm welcome to its 27 staff members for completing PhDs from across the world in different streams. This maiden event will set the precedent as AMU has decided to welcome such group in February every year for acquiring PhDs; for it will encourage future PhD aspirants, said, Academic Affairs Vice President, Dr Yechale Kebede.
