The Legal Service Directorate of Arba Minch University is one of the support offices under the Office of the President established with its own vision, mission and objectives. From the very beginning, the directorate aims at rendering the highest quality legal services in a responsible, thoughtful, and timely manner in order to promote the mission of the university. Accordingly, the directorate is responsible for providing legal advice and representing the university and all its colleges, schools, departments, and related entities, including the broad range of legal issues affecting the legal interest of Arba Minch University. This will be ensured because the directorate has a direct working relationship with the women and gender affairs directorate, student affairs directorate, liaison and anti-corruption directorate at university level.

Human resource management directorate is one of the directorate which is accountable to the Vice-President for Administration of the university.

The directorate is accountable for Administrative & Development vice President. It offers maintenance, preventative maintenance, contract administration, and repairs for the campus. In addition to receiving facility administration, planning of different construction activities are the duties of the directorate. It also offers services for water and sewer, carpentry, keys, locks, masonry, plastering and painting, re-lamping and other rely fixtures power wiring, landscaping, lawn care, leaf removal, furniture moving and setups, preventive maintenance, routine and emergency repairs, replacements, smaller scale renovations and new installations.

Audit Executive Office is responsible for controlling and regulating whether the financial, purchasing and property works are done according to the government’s rule, regulation, and proclamations and giving advice related to auditing for everyone in need. The office has two major work processes. These are performance audit and compliance audit. Performance audit is the type of audit which is responsible for assuring- auditing is done based on the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Compliance on the other, hand is a type of audit which is responsible for assuring- auditing is done based on the government’s rule, regulation, and proclamations.
