Arba Minch University welcomes 5021 new entrants

Arba Minch University has accorded a warm welcome to its 5021 new students for the academic year 2014-15 (2007 EC) from September 30, 2014, at its five campuses.
The statistics has it that, 1900 will be joining Institute of Technology, College of Medicine & Health Sciences 320, College of Natural Sciences 1111, College of Agriculture 390; 1300 will be admitted in College of Business & Economics and College of Social Sciences and Humanities. 11-day Govt. training for academic staff, students begins

Ethiopian Federal Government has initiated 11-day training for Arba Minch University’s academic staff and students on Sept 29, 2014, at Student’s Cafeteria at Main Campus.
The objective of the training is to enhance the quality of teaching-learning process by creating awareness on secularism, personal accountability and establishing amiable environment in the nation, said the member of House of Representative and General Director for National Archives and Library Agency, Addis Ababa for Federal government, Mr Abraham Chosa. Strategic Plan Evaluation and Implementation Directorate holds ‘Kaizen’ training

Arba Minch University’s Strategic Plan Evaluation and Implementation Directorate has held a daylong orientation program in Kaizen, a Japanese concept that implies ‘improvement’, or ‘change for the better’ for all AMU directors and department heads on Sept 24, 2014, at Lecture Theatre, Main Campus.Click here to see the Pictures.

US Envoy assures stronger ties with AMU on various areas
